기도하는 성전, 마태복음 21:12 - 21:17

기도하는 자리에 가도 세상에서 돈버는 일이 생각난다. 내 마음에 예수님께서 매매하는 자들과 돈바꾸는 자들 등 상인들을 쫓아 내시고, 기도하는 주님의 거룩한 성전 되기 바라시며, 그렇게 바꿔주신다. 주님의 말씀으로 내 마음과 생각이 무엇을 하고 있어야 하는지 깨닫는다. 기도하는 성전을 세워라! 본문말씀 성전을 깨끗하게 하시며 만민이 기도하는 집이라고 선포하심 12 예수께서 성전에 들어가사 성전 안에서 매매하는 모든 사람들을 내쫓으시며 돈 바꾸는 사람들의 상과 비둘기 파는 사람들의 의자를 둘러 엎으시고 13 그들에게 이르시되 기록된 바 내 집은 기도하는 집이라 일컬음을 받으리라 하였거늘 너희는 강도의 소굴을 만드는도다 하시니라 12 Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a ‘den of robbers.’” 맹인이 고침 받고 어린아이들이 찬양하는 성전 회복 14 맹인과 저는 자들이 성전에서 예수께 나아오매 고쳐주시니 15 대제사장들과 서기관들이 예수께서 하시는 이상한 일과 또 성전에서 소리 질러 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 하는 어린이들을 보고 노하여 16 예수께 말하되 그들이 하는 말을 듣느냐 예수께서 이르시되 그렇다 어린 아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는 찬미를 온전하게 하셨나이다 함을 너희가 읽어 본 일이 없느냐 하시고 17 그들을 떠나 성 밖으로 베다니에 가서 거기서 유하시니라 14 The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant. 16 “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise’?” 17 And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.
